2 weeks without an update. I was waiting for Tammy to update her blog but looks like that may never happen.

kids are good. Katie's progress reports were all As. Kyle talks to much in class. Corey is ok with his new meds. But I wonder if they are working enough.

We sent in the check for our fence. Should have that completed by the end of next week. WOOHOO.

Day 4 of the new meds. I dont know if this one is strong enough. I dont see much difference with this one. Maybe on Friday the teachers report will show some improvement.

Met my new manager at work yesterday. She is patrick starfish dumb. Hopefully she wont be there long. She is maybe 21. And I honestly dont think she knows what she is in for. No way would I want that kinda stress in my life right now. If I had money no way would I wont her in charge of it. She was introduced to me with this. Brittany this is Nancy Nancy Brittany. If you have any questions Nancy is the one to ask she knows the answer to everything.
APPEARANTLY NOT since I was good enough to be the asst manager.

Tuesday 9/12/06

Concerta does not work. I am going to copy a post I made earlier on a message board.

Well Saturday he was at gmas most of the day. She said he was "like he was 2 years ago" attention wise. And Sunday after he ate 1/2 of his spaghetti I realized he had not eaten all day.

On Sunday he had 1 pnt bttr jelly sandwich 1/2 plate of spaghetti and then I forced jello into him.

WELL monday he took his med and ate apple sauce I also made him a pnut bttr sandwich (its his favorite) trying to get him to eat. He did not eat the sandwich. He complained of his stomach hurting all morning. I contemplated keeping him home but he wanted to go.
Well he vomited on the bus. So I go to pick him up and he has had what appears to the school nurse and to a SpEd (not his) teacher as an absence seizure. I call work to tell them I wont be there and call the Dr.

They said do not give him the meds anymore (DUH) Finally today the nurse talked to the Dr and called me back. They are changing his script.

He vomited today after school. Brian says he was eating non stop since he got home so I hope he just ate to much I am sure he was very hungry. He seemed fine after I got home from work jsut whiney very tired kind of whiney.

OH yeah its been 66* at night so I thought it would be good to have the windows open at night. Now my sinus are all messed up.

So that is where we are now.

Sat Sept 9 PM

According to my MIL the Concerta is a good fit. In her words " he is like he was 2 years ago."

She was impressed. He wanted another one before bed. I had to read the medicine bottle to him. take one tablet each morning. I am thinking about trying church in the morning. He didnt take his "sleepy" medicine (melatonin) so I guess I will see how he sleeps. He is talking in his sleep right now.

Saturday Sept 9

I have to work today. Its my first Saturday working in over a year and a half. blah

Started Corey on Concerta this morning. Guess we will see how it works. It is nice that he can swallow pills.

At least the college game I want to see is after I get off work today. Then tomorrow the Falcons play!!

Tuesday Sept 5

So I am now at my new branch, which is my old branch. I worked 2 years in this branch before. It is 6 minutes from home.

My co-workers from the other branch gave me a nice going away party. cake and a card with $60 in it. I spent it on groceries. WAAAHHHH I feel like Sandy.

Good news: I made cookies this weekend. my kids thought I was cool. HAHA They called for all purpose flour. I thought I had self rising. Didnt look went on my ASSumption. Guess what!?! I had all purpose and I didnt add the salt and soda SO I had flat cookies.

We worked in the back yard. dug up the weeds. If only we could buy the sand and bricks to finish the patio. Instead we have a frog habitat. A frog lives in my mud puddle around the current patio. I Let the kids play in the puddle yesterday while I grilled hamburgers Corey was using nice descripitive words. "this is squishy in my toes"

Corey goes to the Marcus Institute on Thursday.

Kyle wants to join cubscouts. I am happy for him. Sad for Corey. But corey is going to have his Therapy and they are 2 people they dont have to do everything together.

I guess that is all today. I will try not to stay away so long next time.
