We closed on our refi yesterday. Thank God. We are saving about 4500 dollars between now and Christmas. Now the kids will have a Christmas. We were seriously going to have to have nothing well not nothing but very little this year but now we can get them the thing they want most XBOX 360.

Anyway Im glad that is over.

Today we have planned: 10am Library open house The newest county library is opening today and it is so close to the house WOOHOO!!! 11 am to 1pm Fall festival at local family sports bar and from 4-6 Trick or treat main street. Busy day I hope Corey can handle all of it. We might skip the Fall festival if I see him getting out of sorts.

I need to go to the grocery store this morning. I need to make a list we have almost nothing to eat in the house.

3 weeks till vacation.

Over the weekend I painted. Kyle and Corey's room is now orange and blue on opposite walls. They each picked a favorite color. We repaired the damaged walls in my bathroom and it is freshly painted. Whitewashed the dark purple walls in Katies room so her room is brighter. I painted over the artwork in the half bath downstairs. And Katies bathroom is a green mist now. We also dealt with the moat in the backyard. Its not the ideal fix (that would be the block patio) but it is ok now. We filled the moat and adjoining flower beds (HAHA WEED BEDS) with mulch. It looks pretty good. I just hope the $75 worth of mulch doesnt float away if we get a good rain. I need to touch up the downstairs walls. I have already puttied all the dings. and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. OHOHOH The fence people will be here today!! So by bedtime tomorrow I wont have to worry about Corey running away from the backyard or the Dog breaking away from the leash and attacking the neighbors dogs.
We are hoping to have an appraisal done Thursday or Friday and getting the house refinanced. Closing by the 1st of the month.
